Landing Zone

If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you might recall that I’m not the most digitally adept independent author on the block. Because of that, I spend inordinate amounts of time working on something like this website or a promotional reel or figuring out how to get into a flow on my social media platforms.

But storytelling…now that’s a different matter altogether. Somebody could suggest the most mundane object imaginable, & I’d come up with a passable tale of intrigue or silliness. That’s great for writing fiction & spontaneously spinning yarns, but not so much for navigating the world of book promoting which I seem to have fallen into.

So when I decided to simplify my author pages & links by setting up a landing page, I planned on hours of prep. Surprise, surprise, it was a piece of cake.

No doubt there are lots of choices for services, but I went with the one I saw most frequently used by other independent authors—Linktree. (No, this is not an endorsement, just an honest opinion.) You can sign up for a free plan, modify themes, upload thumbnails, & such.

So if you’re interested in checking it out, feel free to visit my landing page & see for yourself: https://linktr.ee/drew.faraday. (No kickbacks coming my way if you do.)

Keep you posted.

My first self-published novel, Pearl Fields and the Oregon Meltdown, is currently available on the Kindle Store & Kindle Unlimited.

Review Excerpts

My completed serialized companion novel, Core Haven, was available on Kindle Vella till Amazon pulled the plug on February 26, 2025. I’m happy to report that it enjoyed good standing in its categories (dystopian & action/adventure), as well as its subcategories (journey, survival, thriller). Rest assured, you’ll have a chance to read the new & improved edition as an ebook from the Kindle Store sometime before midsummer. I’ll keep you posted.
