What can I say? My one-week promo stacking/Kindle Countdown Deal has officially launched & the sense of relief I have is enough to prompt an exuberant happy dance.
Fortunately for you, I’m not the type to film myself doing anything like that & posting it on my various social media platforms. Instead, I’ll let your imagination take over in that regard.
Anyway, if you’re not familiar with a Kindle Countdown Deal, it basically provides an incentive for readers to buy an ebook version of, say, my latest release Core Haven: Hope Amid the Ruins earlier rather than later during the allotted time. (Amazon doesn’t provide the same chance with the paperback version.)
As you can tell from the image at the top, the lowest price will be $1.99 starting today, Friday, before it climbs incrementally back to the original $4.99.
My hope is that Amazon will also allow Core Haven to appear in more strategic spots in their advertising matrix since even though sales have been steady, they could always use a boost.
I’m happy to report that in terms of ratings & reviews, my dystopian/survival companion novel has reached & passed the coveted 50th milestone as of the writing of this post—not to mention keeping its overall rating along the way.

Meanwhile, I’m plastering this kind of information everywhere I can— I mean, I’m letting people know about the Countdown Deal in various ways.
